Meet Owner and Instructor Tegan
Tegan is the founder and instructor behind Palmy Pilates, a mat Pilates community born from a deep love of movement and human connection. After becoming a certified instructor in 2015, her injury experience led her to discover how powerful low-impact, form-focused movement can be.
Following a break to travel and start a family, Tegan returned to teaching in 2023 with a renewed sense of purpose. What began as a small, one-off class in a community hall quickly grew into a thriving local movement. Her classes are known for being inclusive, creative, and quietly challenging, all delivered with warmth, humour and a down-to-earth energy that keeps clients coming back.
With a strong focus on accessibility and genuine connection, Tegan creates a space where everybody feels supported and encouraged to move, feel stronger, and leave class smiling.

power your core
Pilates is known for building deep core strength, but it doesn’t stop there. You’ll work your whole body with mindful, controlled movements that help correct imbalances, improve posture, and support everyday strength.
move better, feel better
Whether you want to sleep better, chase your kids around, or simply feel more connected to your body, Pilates is a great place to start. It supports functional movement, flexibility and control – all with minimal impact on your joints.
supportive class
With modifications for every level and a welcoming, judgement-free vibe, our classes are designed for every body. Whether it’s your first time on the mat or your hundredth, you’ll leave class feeling stronger, more centred, and ready to take on your day.
